EMDR Consultation Successful

Quality EMDR Consultation to Improve Your Practice

I provide EMDR consultation for therapists seeking advanced conceptualization support, EMDRIA certification hours, and refinement of clinical skills. I am an EMDRIA Certified EMDR Therapist and Consultant-in-Training. Recently, I began providing specialized EMDR trainings. I am also a Clinical Trainer at UCLA Health. My clinical experience spans many different worlds, from community mental health and substance abuse programs to private practice. This background allows me to relate to clinicians working in a variety of settings.

I most often provide individual EMDR consultation. However, depending on demand, I also open up EMDR consultation groups.

Please note: due to my roles in clinical training and therapy caseload, I maintain a limited consultation caseload to ensure focused, high-quality attention for all of my consultees. I currently have a small number of consultation slots open for interested clinicians. Once those slots are filled, I will open a waitlist.

Who I Work Best With in EMDR Consultation

  • Therapists pursuing EMDRIA Certification
  • Clinicians seeking clarity with complex trauma cases
  • Providers wanting stronger case conceptualization and treatment planning
  • Early- to mid-career clinicians building confidence
  • Therapists transitioning from a CBT-related background into EMDR

Please note that EMDR consultation is reserved for therapists who have completed Basic Training. If you are interested in Basic Training, you can review this list of trainings approved by EMDRIA. Also, I can personally recommend EMDR Professional Training’s Basic Training offerings.

EMDR Consultation for EMDRIA Certification

Interested in becoming an EMDRIA Certified EMDR Therapist? One of the key components is getting 20 hours of EMDR consultation. I can provide individual and/or group hours toward your certification. Becoming a certified EMDR therapist is a great way to increase your mastery of this model.

What to Expect in EMDR Consultation

I offer advanced, structured consultation for therapists committed to clinical depth.

In EMDR consultation sessions, we:

  • review and improve understanding of the eight phases and three prongs
  • give case presentations and discuss how to conceptualize and treat that case
  • troubleshoot stuck reprocessing
  • practice skills to improve efficacy
  • discuss ethical and clinical nuance to challenging cases

Individual consultation sessions are 50 minutes in length. Group consultation is typically 80 minutes, although it may extend longer depending on the size of the group.

Individual consultation is $200 per session. Group consultation is $100 per member.

I talk more about my general approach to consultation here.

EMDR Consultation What It Looks Like

A Little About Me

As a licensed clinical social worker practicing in California and Nevada, I carry my own therapy caseload and remain firmly rooted in that work even as I offer consultation and trainings. I am an EMDRIA Certified EMDR Therapist and Consultant-in-Training (full certification as a consultant is expected to be completed mid-2026). In 2026, I began working for UCLA Health as a Clinical Trainer. Before that, I invested 7 years at Los Angeles County Department of Mental Health helping vulnerable and underserved populations.

I am recognized by the Academy of Cognitive Behavioral Therapy as both a certified CBT Therapist and a CBT Trainer Consultant. My EMDR consultation adheres to the model pioneered by Francine Shapiro. However, as applicable, I may bring in my CBT experience if it helps your growth process.
