Improve Treatment Outcomes through CBT Consultation
Who I Work Best With in CBT Consultation
From interns breaking into the field to clinicians with decades of experience, I’ve provided consultation to many therapists over the years.
I am not currently offering any public introductory CBT trainings. As such, I think the providers who might best benefit from CBT consultation are:
- at least somewhat acquainted with CBT as a model
- motivated to expand their clinical skills
- looking to improve the structure of their sessions
- interested in developing more effective, client-specific homework suggestions
- wanting to discuss case conceptualization
What to Expect
I model CBT consultation after the recommended structure of a CBT session. I find this parallel process helps model many of the most important skills for successful cognitive behavioral therapy.
In CBT consultation, we:
- review cognitive theory to better understand the what and why
- focus on case conceptualization to better understand core beliefs, and thus treatment plan effectively
- utilize role plays to increase mastery of CBT skills
- practice Socratic questioning and other tools to help clients with guided discovery
- discuss ethical and clinical nuance to challenging cases
Individual consultation sessions are 50 minutes long. Group consultation typically lasts 80 minutes, depending on the size of the group.
The fees are as follows: individual consultation is $200 per session. Group consultation is $100.

A Little About Me
I am a licensed clinical social worker, practicing via telehealth in California and Nevada. The Academy of CBT recognizes me as a Certified Therapist and Trainer Consultant. I stay close to the actual work of therapy through my caseload, which continues to be an enormous passion of mine. I currently work as a Clinical Trainer for UCLA Health. Previously, I worked for the Los Angeles County Department of Mental Health as a psychiatric social worker, serving vulnerable and underserved populations.
I additionally specialize in EMDR. I am an EMDRIA Certified EMDR Therapist and Consultant-in-Training. This modality, while quite different from CBT, helps me bring a unique, trauma-informed perspective to my consultation.
